NewUs (뉴어스) is a 5 member South Korean boy group under StarCubic Entertainment and Padox. Their Korean label, StarCubic Entertainment, is most known for their popular 5 member hallyu dance group LoveCubic who have won recognition from kpop fans both domestically and abroad. Their Japanese label, Padox, handles the group’s activities in Japan. In addition to their own artists, Geonmo, Sirius, and 4Heaven, Padox has also participated in promoting and organizing some Japanese events with Korean group, Code-V.
Composed of Jion, Hooni, Hyunmo (also known as Hm), Sang Wook, and Seoin, NewUs is set to make their Japan debut in August followed by their Korean debut in September. After having successful performances at the StarCubic Family Concert with fellow labelmates LoveCubic and La_tte their first single, Right Now is scheduled to go on sale on August 17th. While the group does not have a set date for their Korean activities, they will begin their first round of Japanese promotions from August 17th through August 24th.
