There was a rumor spread that it is a Romanian song which sounds exactly like "Volume UP" by 4Minute.
Sunrise Inc's song was published on March 21th, 2012 on their official channel: SunriseIncOfficial and 4Minute's song was published on April 8th, 2012, also on their official channel: 4minuteofficial
You can hear it clearly in Sunrise Inc's 'Mysterious Girl' around 0:26, 1:41, 3:27 and also it's in the background. In 4Minute's 'Volume Up' , around 0:25 and you can hear it in the background also, countless times.
Check it yourself !
4Minute - Volume Up
Sunrise Inc - Mysterious Girl
Now, we have a question: it's that saxophone, just a sample that can be used by any producer that bought it or a composition by Sunrise Inc/4Minute?

I looked this up only because i thought 4minute sounded the same as something
ReplyDeletewait doesn't that mean that 4minute copied the song...?
ReplyDeleteoh nvm the release date for mysterious girl is wrong it was May i think...
Deleteyou mean, 4 minutes heard the Mysterious songs from Romania on 3-21 2012, and wrote their lyrics, sang, recorded, and the entertainment decided that was their title. After that they created their artists' Album concept then filmed their Music Video. After that they made their music album on 4-08 2012? Are you serious? in two weeks? Can you do it?
DeleteMysterious girl was released on May 6 . So that means Sunrise Inc. copied 4 minutes not vice versa.
ReplyDeleteMysterious girl's official single uploaded to youtube on 2012/3/21, earlier than 4Minute
DeleteDoesnt really matter when you uploaded the official single on Youtube or not. what matter is the date when you release it .... idiot
DeleteActually, neither copied anyone. Both songs use the saxophone track under license from a 3rd party.
